The Red Cross and Red Crescent on a white background are among the 20th century's most enduring images. In war and peace, and in the midst of suffering and tragedy caused by man-made or natural disasters, they are internationally- recognized symbols of help and compassion.
The Red Cross is committed to saving lives and easing suffering.... it’s a diverse organization which serves humanity and helps by providing relief to victims of disasters. The seven Fundamental Principles of The Red Cross are: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.
Ricky explained the need for persons to volunteer their time to the Red Cross as well as the reasons to give donations which the Organization is urgently seeking.
If you're interested in volunteering your time or in making a donation to the Anguilla Red Cross please contact their headquarters.
