February 7th 2008 - The Anguilla National Cricket Team were the celebrity guests for this show. The studio was packed as all the guys and the managers and Coach stopped by for the hour to tell listeners about their grand display of heart, talent and hope at the 20 / 20 Tournament in Antigua.
The guys were in really great spirits although a bit disappointed that they had lost by just 16 runs to Grenada. They discussed what the tournament meant to them, and were happy and quite animated as they received calls from listeners congratulating them on their brave performance.
It's nice to win, but winning isn't everything. Sometimes the fight, the performance, the energy speaks volumes.
Host Bree explained that the main reason she wanted team AXA on the show was to say that Anguilla is proud of their efforts and their perseverance. To do so much with so young a team...we can only hope for greater things to come.
